Seven Top Issues Church Planters Face
Posted by Doug Foltz on Apr 11, 2011 in Uncategorized | 0 commentsRecently I’ve been blogging on the 7 Top Issues Church Planter’s face. It’s based on research conducted by Todd Wilson at Exponential. My experience bears out the truth of these top issues. I think Todd’s research is dead on. To conclude this series of posts, I want to encourage planters to do two things.
1. Self-evaluate. Take an honest look at each of these issues and give yourself a grade. How are you doing. For those that you are struggling with, get help. Talk to your coach (the assumption being that you have a coach). Talk to other church planters. Talk to your network. Don’t ignore any deficits because they will only grow with time.
2. Attend Exponential April 26 – 29 in Orlando, FL. Ed Stetzer and I are both teaching in the pre-launch track. While I’m talking on planning and filling out legal paperwork (exciting stuff), Ed will be unpacking these top issues. I know personally that will be a session I won’t want to miss.
